DEACONS
The deacons at MABC serve the church in a number of ways including ministering to hurting or needy people, offering guidance in spiritual matters and teaching in our Sunday School and Discipleship Training classes.  They offer support to the pastors, staff and the congregation through prayer and practical ministry.

DISCIPLESHIP

Sunday School
There are several varied Bible Study classes in our adult division. Curriculums include studies of individual books of the Bible and relevant thematic studies of scripture. There are classes for men, women and mixed groups.

“A Life Well Lived” by Chuck Swindoll    (Adults—Wednesdays at 7 p.m.)What does it mean to really live? As believers in Christ, we don’t have to scratch our heads and wonder what it takes to live life as God intended. He provides clear expectations for us in Micah 6:8. Using this passage as an outline for this series, we will examine the lives of biblical heroes such as Peter, Joseph, David, and Daniel and presents us with an opportunity to examine our own lives to see if we are living “A Life Well Lived.”

WOMEN'S MINISTRY
The women’s ministry is committed to offering on-going Bible studies, a mentoring program, opportunities for ministry, and special spiritual growth events.

Precepts Bible Study of John 1     (Ladies – Mondays at 9:00 a.m.)
An in-depth, inductive study that will help you understand God’s Word, bring healing to your soul, and give direction to your life.

“Believing God” by Beth Moore     (Ladies—Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.)
Drawing from the "Heroes of the Faith" in Hebrews 11, this study examines the lives of Abraham, Moses and others who believed God. Through their examples, Beth explores what it means to know and truly believe God as described in Isaiah 43:10 and encourages women to deepen their own trust in God and receive a fresh word from Him

“God’s Good Gifts”      (Ladies—Thursdays at 7 p.m.)
Love scrapbooking?  Love the Lord?  Join us as we create a personal testimony of the wondrous ways God is working in our life!  We will cultivate a spirit of  thankfulness, unearth our unique spiritual heritage, unlease our creativity, and show our family the countless ways God is moving in our midst.  Form meaningful friendships while creating compelling scrapbook pages that focus on deep, personal elements of spiritual heritage. Each woman's finished project will be a devotional scrapbook her family and future  generations will enjoy again and again.

MEN'S MINISTRY
The men’s ministry is committed to offering opportunities for spiritual growth and service. Saturday morning provides two opportunities for men. Every Saturday at 6:30 am, there is a prayer time with the pastor for men.

“Go Fish” by Andy Stanley     (Men—Saturdays at 7:30 a.m.)

It was this big!”  “You should have seen the one that got away.”  Sound familiar?  People love to tell stories of their fishing adventures.  When it comes to faith, however, most people clam up.  Why can’t we talk about what God has done in our life as naturally as we can spin fishing tales?  This six-week Bible study will help men answer this question and prepare them to become the “fishers of men” God intends us to be.

Other opportunities for fellowship such as breakfasts, Men’s Movie Night and golf outings are provided throughout the year.
